FAK3 has just completed a project named ‘DOU' which is a term in Cantonese slang for ‘Den’, and a home away from home. The project is Hidden in Tin Hau and the function of the space would be for both living, entertaining friends and work.

Due to spatial restrictions we have developed a rotating entertainment cabinet anchored centrally in this open plan space which can be controlled by a smartphone. Wrapped round the cabinet is a lounge, dining area, study, balcony. Through integrated technology and planning, we have created a dynamic space allowing the users to modify the functions with many more possibilities to adapt to there requirements.
